- "Really enjoyed a quick tour of various parcels of vineyards with co owner and very hospitable, Eduardo Bravo and tried his delicious wines. The winery and its vineyards are superbly located relatively higher up with commanding views of the River Avia valley and the small village of Gomariz renouned throughout the world for its excellent white whites (and increasingly reds too). The star grape is Treixadura but they also cultivate other grape varieties including Loureira, Albariño and Torrentés including a bit of Godello. The historical complex which houses the winery actually dates back to the 13th Century and commands a privileged position nestled in the valley with a beautiful terrace with amazing, typical Ribeiro views. Vehicular access is just about possible clinging to the valley slopes. Their wines are increasingly Award winning and growing in reputation. They certainly deserve to export more as their wines deserve international recognition."
